Task

The studio was faced with the task to develop the design of the line of potato chips HiChips (USA) without changing the logo.

Study and options

The youth concept was taken as the basis of design – “dynamics, abstraction, contrasting colors”. Specialists of the TSD studio proposed to attract the attention of consumers with an unusual design – contrasting geometric illustrations.
Harmoniously selected colors favorably distinguish the design of the packaging of chips on the background of competitors.

Several label options were proposed, each of which emphasized a combination of free space, a feeling of lightness, airiness and, at the same time, ease of perception.
In the process of developing the label design, all the technological nuances of its further production were taken into account (for example, options for screen printing, providing a special tactile perception) were worked out.
The final choice fell on the option with bright colors with dynamic transitions of graphic elements.
